- The waterproof properties of the raincoat are provided by:
- the use of a heat-resistant fabric laminated with a microporous vapor-permeable FR membrane;

- A set-in hood with a drawstring along the face opening, with adjustment in two directions, provides a snug fit, reducing wind blowing and moisture ingress.
- On the back of the head, the hood is fixed with a textile contact tape (Velcro) - for height adjustment.
- The raincoat is completed with a set for minor repairs: flame-retardant threads, buttons and main fabric.
