Jacket + trousers
For protection against mechanical impacts and harmful biological factors.
Due to its unique design characteristics, the LES suit provides a reliable secure barrier against ticks and other bloodsucking insects as well as maximum comfort.
Jacket
Non-detachable (set-in) expanded front part to which a detachable mosquito net is zipped. When the mesh is not in use it's enclosed in the inside breast pocket and is buttoned The front part of the hood is made of two layers of fabric to give it the necessary stability of shape, and to provide the required distance from the face to the fastened protective net.
The middle part of the hood provides a good positioning on the head, unlike a one-seam hood The hood is adjustable for better comfort: from the inside, along the face opening, it's tightened with a cord, and in the middle part there is a tightener fixed with adhesive tape. The inner side of the back yoke, passing to the front part (where the clothing fits most snugly to the body), is additionally strengthened with coarse calico to prevent mosquitoes from biting through.
Flounce-shaped protective diverting folds at the front and on the back, at waist level, and on the sleeves (downwards from the elbow line), do not enter into the side seams, and thus prevent ticks from crawling up from under the divertor and up the clothing to unprotected parts of the body. On the front, the jacket is zippered from the neck hole to the yoke.
Rib-knit cuffs on the sleeves to prevent penetration by insects. Cotton wrist bands with Lycra provide tight seating. Rib-knit cuffs permit working with moving equipment without getting caught in machinery. Outside sleeve seam provides extra space for freedom of movement. Breast patch pockets with side gussets and flaps prevent garbage and moisture penetration into the pockets, Velcro tape fastener. Separate bagging of the pocket, so it can be easily turned out to clean out insects and garbage. Jacket bottom is tied-up with a cord If required, the jacket can be tucked into the trousers to prevent penetration by ticks and insects.
Trousers
Trousers have elasticized waistband and belt-loops. Patch pockets with flaps preventing garbage and moisture penetration into the pockets. Velcro tape fastener. Separate bagging of the pocket, so it can be turned out to clear it from insects and garbage. Knee areas reinforced with patches for extra durability and to prevent chafing. Rib-knit cuffs (set-in gaiters) under the trouser bottom to prevent insects getting inside the garment. Flounce-shaped protective diverting folds above knee areas, as on the jacket.
