These boots with molded polyurethane and nitrile rubber sole are manufactured using state-of-the-art equipment. A unique technology of sole manufacturing ensures that the sole is strongly bonded to the upper and provides an extremely strong binding of the sole layers together.
- Upper is made of genuine smooth leather (thickness: 1.8 to 2.0 mm).
- Two-layer, oil- and petrochemicals-resistant sole provides protection against hostile materials.
- Shock-absorbing polyurethane midsole reduces shock loads and makes the footwear light, comfortable and highly heat-resistant.
- The outsole is made of wear-resistant, frost-resistant (−40°C) and heat-resistant (300°C / 60 s) nitrile rubber, which additionally provides enhanced resistance to deformation and chafing.
- The outsole has a lug depth of 4.5 mm, which ensures good traction to various surfaces and the angle-wise tread pattern provides self-cleaning of the sole.
- CAPTAIN series features composite toe cap for forefoot protection against impacts (200 J) (MIL 200) with an additional pad providing excellent compression resistance.
- Secure genuine leather tongue flap prevents any ingress of small objects, splashes and dust. It is made of genuine leather and wear-resistant and water repellent ON DURA NILO fabric (95% polyester / 5% polyamide, polyurethane coating).
- Soft piping protects against side shocks and ensures comfort.
- Lining and removable insole made of ALASKA natural fur is used (pile: 12 to 14 mm).
