The boots are free of metal fixings which makes them suitable for the power industry or when employees have to pass through metal detectors. Perforation allows the foot to breathe and ensures comfort to  the wearer. The foot is fixed with belts and a Velcro fastening.

All NEOGARD-LIGHT models are made by direct molding of polyurethane and thermoplastic polyurethane materials. In accordance with construction features and markings NEOGARD-LIGHT series footwear provides protection against fuels, petrochemicals, mechanical threats and industrial pollutants.

• Upper is made of genuine leather (thickness: 1.6 to 1.8 mm) and finished with contemporary shoe materials, which enables all the necessary safety features and significantly reduces weight.
• Two-layer oil- and gasoline-resistant sole provides protection against hostile materials, such as fuels and petrochemicals:
  • Shock-absorbing polyurethane midsole reduces shock loads and makes the footwear light, comfortable and highly heat-resistant.
  • Outer layer is made of wear-resistant, heat-resistant and frost-resistant (−40°C to +120°C) thermoplastic polyurethane, which additionally provides improved resistance to deformation and chafing.
• Athletic-style sole meets the contemporary requirements for safety footwear in respect to appearance and functionality. The sole walking surface provides a high degree of adhesion to a wide range of surfaces and possesses a self-cleaning tread Self-cleaning deep tread.
• Composite (or aluminum) toe cap for forefoot protection against impacts (200 J) (MIL 200) with an additional polyurethane coating.
• Secure tongue flap made of RETOR cloth prevents any ingress of moisture, dust, or small objects.Soft piping protects against side impacts and ensures comfort.
• Lining made of DERMODRY COOLMAX and ON STEAM provides moisture absorption and a high degree of foot comfort.
• BIOTEC memory foam insole made of DERMODRY COOLMAX fabric and polyurethane absorbs moisture and provides greater foot comfort.
• The last is specially designed for safety footwear worn in the summer, spring, and autumn seasons, and ensures comfort and fatigue-free working throughout the whole day.
