• Boots are manufactured by direct moulding of the polyurethane and nitrile rubber sole.
• The shoe upper is made of genuine heat-resistant leather (1.8–2.0 mm thick).
• Half-bellows tongue flap made of genuine leather is additionally closed with a valve (outer tongue) made of heat-resistant Russian leather with instep natural leather closure straps fastened with buckles, which prevents sparks, splashes of molten metal, and scale from getting inside.
• The soft genuine leather cuff provides comfortable wear.
• Lining – multi-layer insulation: faux fur on a knitted base with wool pile (70% wool, 30% polyester, density 640 g/m², pile height 14 mm), Shelter® B-200 synthetic insulation with metallized film (foil ). In the heel, there is a pocket made of split leather with a lining made of Shelter® B-200 synthetic insulation.
• Multi-layered insulation material for removable insole.
• Fire-resistant threads are used in the production of shoes.
• The sole is two-layer (resistant to chemical factors – oil, petroleum products, acid solutions with concentrations up to 20%, alkali solutions with concentrations up to 20%).
• The top layer of polyurethane has shock-absorbing properties, absorbs shock loads, and also gives the shoe lightness, comfort and increased heat-protective properties.
• The bottom layer is made of wear-resistant, heat-resistant (with short-term (60 sec.) contact with heated surfaces up to 300°C), frost-resistant (–45°C) nitrile rubber, and resistant to deformation and abrasion.
• The depth of the profile (tread) of the running layer of the sole is 5 mm and the elements of the sole protect against slipping on greasy, wet surfaces, and the angled tread pattern ensures self-cleaning of the sole from dirt.
• The full-size characteristics of the last used in the production of shoes ensure comfortable wearing and allow you not to feel tired throughout the entire working day.

Men's leather boots Neogard-2® for welding work with a lining made of faux fur with a wool pile and synthetic insulation, complete with clothing and other personal protective equipment that provides proper thermal insulation, are recommended for use in I-II, III, IV and Special climatic zones.
