The MSA Latchways PRDŽ Personal rescue device is a revolutionary self-rescue harness. It is a lightweight, unobtrusive personal rescue device that is accommodated in a small backpack attached with a full body harness. It is designed for application together with the fall arrest system or with anchor attachment point.
In the event of a fall the PRDŽ device lowers the person gently to the ground in a controlled descent. The device includes a 20-meters aramid rope which is released in a regulated speed due to the breaking mechanism. An innovated design includes the use of high-quality components and a limited number of moving components to provide 100% mechanical strength of the device.
