Construction: features impact-resistant shell made of Termotrek material. The helmet is equipped with a brim, rain groove and two slots for earmuff attachment, cloth tape shock absorber with 6 fixing points, chin strap and a seal. The unsurpassed distinguishing advantage of the "SOMZ-55 RAPID" series helmets is the unique design of the internal RAPID fit-out allowing for smooth and accurate adjustment of head harness size (51–65 cm) for secure helmet application on the head of the wearer. Design allows for the use of additional PPE: earmuffs, face shields, welder's helmets and helmet liner.

Protective properties: intended for head protection against mechanical injuries (resistant to lateral deformation), moisture exposure, metal splashes and voltages up to 1500 VDC and up to 1000 VAC during works connected with head injury risk such as metallurgy, machine building, etc.).
