Bump caps are intended for head protection against impacts of solid, unmoving objects which are strong enough to cause flesh wounds. Does not protect against falling objects, in this case a safety helmet should be used. Consists of an ABS-plastic protection insert with external and internal shock-absorbers made of PE foam, outer material – 100% cotton (outer Hi-Vis fluorescent material – 35% cotton, 65% polyester). Wearer's comfort is provided by special vent holes.

It is recommended to change a protective cap every 2–3 years.
